Their search has been revised, and now only retrieves stories from the past year or so. CBS Sportsline has complete coverage of major sports, and their baseball "encyclopedia" section is outstanding. They do archive past stories, and their search has been improved: it is now via Google. FoxSports search returns videos, photos and news stories. NANDO SportServer search is for sports photos only, but the site has full sports coverage using many wire services. ESPN "search" returns web pages instead of results, but they cover "world sports" better than most sports websites. BBC Sport (United Kingdom) is a great place to keep track of cricket, rugby, tennis, golf, motorsports, and what most of the world calls "football". They have a huge archive of past stories, back to Nov. 1997, with an excellent search form. SkySports (UK) provides good coverage of British, European, and "world sports". Canberra Times (Australia) has the best sports news archive and search of Aussie sports websites. The results from this form will cover the past 30 days, at the results page you can search as far back as November, 2000. WayMoreSports (Canada) is run by the Toronto Star. Their sports news search covers the past 2 weeks.
